This post is long overdue, I know. It’s been a busy summer, but I’m trying to take some time to update my plein air adventures!
Every first week of May, the Kinston Arts center hosts a plein air competition there in Kinston. It’s a very artsy community in eastern North Carolina with tons of paintable landscapes along with many art patrons supporting the culture.
This year, even though the weather was mostly rainy and stormy, I was honored to take 1st place in the event. Below are some of my paintings during the plein air competition:
I’m looking forward to visiting Kinston next year during their 50th anniversary for the Arts Center.
